It’s getting more and more difficult to find places to stash your hard-earned savings where you might actually make a few cents in interest. I just checked the status of one of my savings accounts and I’m making a pathetic 0.2 percent interest. I wish I was joking.
Luckily, our friends over at Consumerism Commentary have just updated their list of “high” yield rates. They provide the Bank, account name, how much you need to have in your account to qualify for the rate, notes on additional qualifications, and the savings rate itself. Based on this list, I think it may be time to change savings accounts!
