Ten Tax Laws That Could Save You Money

Tax season is upon us and while procrastination seems to be the season’s theme, why not let getting money back from Uncle Sam be a motivator to git’r'done?! I know, not everyone gets a refund, but many of us do and for me, that’s the single biggest reason I already have my 2007 taxes finished up and filed.

In the interest of saving you money, I thought I’d pass along a good article from Bankrate that covers the Ten Tax Laws You Gotta Know. For instance, things have changed in the last year and many people can now deduct their private mortgage insurance (PMI). That might mean more money in your pocket!

I realize that even the mention of “tax laws” might make your eyes gloss over in utter boredom, but if taking a few minutes to learn some new things could mean you get more money back from the government (or at least, pay less to the government), don’t you think you should at least give it a once-over?
